Well, Ed Morrissey over at Hot Air has a great piece up as to why Ahmadinejad (The President of Iran) is a scary and unstable individual. Why? Well, to put it in a few short words I guess it’s because he’s a “end-times fanatic that wishes to hasten the end of the world”.

Need proof? Ok:

The tensions surround Imam Mahdi, the 12th imam in a direct bloodline from the Prophet Muhammad, who the Shiite faithful believe will one day emerge from 1,000 years in hiding to save mankind and bring justice to the world. Tens of thousands of pilgrims go each year to the Jamkaran mosque near Qum, about 75 miles south of Tehran, where they believe that the imam will appear.

President Ahmadinejad, who came to office in 2005 declaring his intention to “hasten the emergence” of Imam Mahdi, said in a speech broadcast nationally this month that Imam Mahdi supported the day-to-day workings of his government and was helping him in the face of international pressure.

The real story? Well, most Muslims (not all) hold the belief that Muhammad al-Mahdi was the 12th Imam and that he disappeared on the day of his fathers (11th Imam) funeral during the funeral prayer. They believe that when the 12th Imam arises that he will rid the world of anything that is not Islam and establish a 100% muslim world.

What does that mean for all of us that are non-muslims? Well, the word “destruction” comes to mind and so does “world’s end”.

Ahmadinejad wants to hasten the return of the 12th Imam so that he can hurry up and create a fully muslim world and destroy the enemies of Islam. The crazy part? He actually believe that he can do it. Yet, Barack Obama wants to sit down and have “unconditional talks” with the President of Iran as if he could somehow change this madman’s mind?

Also equally insane.

How, and I really wish he would tell us all HOW, is Barack Obama going to persuade someone like Ahmadinejad (who wishes to destroy the non-muslim world in holy fire and bring about the end-times) that he needs to “stop acting all crazy”. That’s like telling a Schizophrenic to stop hearing voices without trying to prescribe any medication or trying to find them some type of procedure to try and correct the problem.

So, now that we’ve established that Ahmadinejad is pretty much crazy, why is it so necessary to have “talks” with the man? Obviously he is completely driven by religious zealotry and has even rejected the comments made by the Mullah’s of Iran…and those guys are supposed to practically run the place instead of the President.

What makes Barack think that his words can make any difference? Personally, I believe that nothing outside of the realm of “Peace through superior firepower” will suffice when dealing with iran, but apparently the MSM and their Messiah have other plans.

Probably plans that will endanger every single one of us down the road.

I take a weekend off and I read this bombshell on Ace’s page.

Turns out that Obama’s pastor, who is his spiritual mentor, has links with James Cone. As if being connected and admiring Farrakhan was bad enough things just had to go ahead and get a heck of a lot more radioactive.

In case you people don’t know, James Cone is what I like to refer to as “bat-guano crazyface racist” and this man is supported by Jeremiah Wright. Here’s a nice excerpt from the article that Ace links to at Frontpagemag:

The leading theorist of Black Liberation Theology is James Cone. Overtly racist, Cone’s writings posit a black Jesus who leads African-Americans as the “chosen people.” In Cone’s cosmology, whites are “the devil,” and “all white men are responsible for white oppression.” Cone makes this point without ambiguity: “This country was founded for whites and everything that has happened in it has emerged from the white perspective,” Cone has written. “What we need is the destruction of whiteness, which is the source of human misery in the world.”

O RLY?

Well, guess what, Jim Cone is a personal friend of Jeremiah Wright and the pastor has gone on record that he does not disagree on any way with the teachings and words of James Cone.

So, hmm, a racist and a bigot is good friends with a racist and a bigot, but Obama (who was in Wright’s church for 20 years, was married by him, was baptized by him, was led to the faith by him, had his two kids baptized by him) is supposed to be given a pass because he claims he didn’t hear any of this?

Yeah, freakin’ right.

O RLY?

He claims that people are only playing “snippets” and that it’s these people who are playing the “snippets” who are painting him as a radical.

In grainy video of sermons he delivered years ago, Wright is seen calling the September 11 attacks retribution for U.S. policies and condemning America’s failings on race.

At one point he shouts to his congregation, “God Bless America? No, God damn America.

Emphasis mine. I know that Wright still continues to claim that he isn’t a radical but I have a question to ask. At what point in these sermons was he going to get around to talking about God, Jesus, Christianity, The Disciples, The Apostles, The miracles of the prophets or the love of the Holy Trinity?

Oh wait, he doesn’t ever get around to that. He jsut keeps on spouting out anti-America rhetoric and screaming conspiracies about how the government created AIDS and then purposefully infected the black man.

No, he really did claim that.

Anyways, here’s some video of the “non-radical” Jeremiah Wright:

Oh, here’s a larger portion of Wright’s “Hillary ain’t never” sermon below the fold:

First Carter and now Obama.

Obama did go out and publicly claim that Hamas was a terrorist organization (which he is correct on that) but for some odd reason they just don’t seem to mind.

During an interview on WABC radio Sunday, top Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef said the terrorist group supports Obama’s foreign policy vision.

We don’t mind–actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance,” Yousef said in response to a question about the group’s willingness to meet with either of the Democratic presidential candidates.

Another blip on the red flag radar.

Considering Obama has been known to have connections with other known terrorists and racists I would think that this would be just another thing to go down on the list of “bad things about Obama” on the campaign trail.

The leftists will probably shrug this all off and not report it leaving it just to the conservative sides to bring it forward but then again we’re probably just bitter. Ya know, all those guns and bibles laying around the house.
