Failure at Sanity - Rosie says Wright’s speeches “make sense to her”.
Posted by Aurvant under Epic Fail, Funny, General, News, Politics, Stupid, WTF, World NewsYuk yuk, here comes more crazy Rosie your way.
Rosie sits down with the Today show and starts spouting out her crazy crap that she usually reserves for her fledgling blog that houses more crazy than you can shake a crazystick at. She goes on to claim that the government introduced Syphilis to black men - Which it didn’t, but whatever…..you can’t convince someone that far from reality of the truth.
Her way of giving Wright the pass was saying that his comments about AIDS being created actually “made sense” to her because she says that Wrights “genetic memory” allows him to understand what it was like for the government to infect black men with horrible diseases - which it didn’t.
I enjoy her crazy antics just as much as the next person because, well, it’s funny to see a crazy person say stuff and then freakout when no one around her even sympathizes to what she says. However, her craziness is starting to get further and further out there and I’m pretty sure somewhere in the future that she is going to be found mumbling to herself in a toolshed somewhere after a long night of binge eating.

I don’t like Rosie or Wright, but the US Government did do an experiment in Tuskeegee Alabama on syphilis in black men many years ago. While they didn’t infect the men, they did have a “control” group that received a placebo so the scientist could track the progression of the disease. Pretty horrible.

The men used in the Tuskeegee Experiment already had Syphilis. While the placebo treatment and tracking of the progression of the disease was bad it doesn’t mean that the government purposefully injected syphilis in to black men and watched the die.
Rosie and Wright claimed that the government did it to them when in reality the men were already suffering from the disease. It’s a play on semantics really, but enough of a play that an uneducated individual or someone with an agenda could claim that it was the governments fault instead of what actually happened.
