Seriously, what doesn’t the Chinese screw up these days?

They can’t even make toy trains without poisoning people to death nowadays. Why do we even deal with the Chinese with anything anymore? Bah, anyways, quote time:

AEY Inc., a Miami-based company, is facing allegations that it violated a U.S. Army contract agreement when it provided the old Chinese cartridges rather than the Hungarian-made ammunition it promised. Contracts for the ammunition signed between the U.S. military and AEY in January 2007 amount to more than $200 million.

Turns out that it was sold fraudulently and all that nasty illegal stuff.

I can almost see it now…

Dealer: “These bullets are awesome.”
Buyer: “Really? American made, eh? Positive that they aren’t some chinese piece of crap?”
Dealer: “Oh heavens no! Would I lie?”
Buyer: “Would you?”
Dealer: “And if I was?”
Buyer: “We would kill you?”

Or at the very least sue them or something. Still, it is the DOD and they’re kinda all about blowin’ crap up so these fraud-y people might be screwed.
